How do I fix a pocket door that does not lock?

I live in a mobile home that has a pocket door for the bathroom. The latch does not catch to lock it. The side where it latches is very thin drywall. I have tried adjusting the lock plate, but that did not work. Any ideas to lock the door?

You can try a hook and eye, using a wall anchor in the drywall.
