You could paint them on using a stencil, or buy some at a hardware store that stick on or those that can attached with a nut.
If you have a friend with a Cricut, they could make you some, you can buy wood numbers at the craft store and paint. They sell peel and stick numbers. You could free hand them with markers or paint or there are always stencils.
I think using a stencil and paint would look nice. Start with very little paint on the brush and tap lightly. This is the best way to avoid dripping. Wishing you well.
