I'm creating a fairy village in the wooded area behind my house.

My girlfriend used a sturdy border around hers so if rain did uproot her handiwork, it did not wash away. She has not lost a piece yet! The squirrels, chipmunks and who knows what else have relocated a few pieces, but they were found. Messed up the "landscaping" too, birds did most of that, she is out there all the time. Luckily the bears have not squashed it yet. Always a possibility where she lives! My yard it would be perfect (no bears), as it hardly rains here, but I have too many pets.
Perhaps there is a way to put one or two long pegs that you could poke into the ground would help keep everything in place in your village. I hope that helps you, Tracey! A fairy village sounds really great!
