Help me to get rid of moss on my cottage roof that isn't that old???

Here on the Oregon coast where moss is our state flower, LOL, we use Moss Out. Many get the shaker bottle and get on the roof and sprinkle it all over. At 71, I'm not getting on the roof anymore so I buy the liquid in the hose attachment bottle and spray it. Found in any garden department.

I have also heard Wet and Forget works well too.

Wet and Forget has products that ROCK.. they have a spray on product for just your problem. Wet and Forget.. they sell it online and at a lot of stores now. It's non-toxic for animals too....

A lot of people do recommend Wet and Forget, but they have more than one product. If you do get that brand, make sure you get the one for moss. :) Just a heads up. Wishing you the best.

A chimney sweep friend told me what he does. He buys cheap dish washer detergent and sprinkles it on his roof mainly on the peak right before a rain storm. The rain washed it over the rest of the roof and kills the moss. Cheap and easy and no harsh chemicals. Usually 2 boxes does the job.
