Why didn't my peonies flower?

    Did you get buds? If not they may not be getting enough sun. If them budded but did not open, check to see if they are in the shade of a deciduous tree. It's possible that there was enough sun to bud, but then the tree leaves grew in and now it's getting too much shade.

    Ants like the peonies , peonies bloom best with the ant helpers.

    Peonies need ants to help the blooms open. Visit your local nursery.
