Help creating a craft room that serves as a nursery for 1st grandchild
I have been on disability leave for chronic Lyme disease. Strength and energy are finally returning as I have lost 100 pounds. I will be a primary caregiver for our first granddaughter and am so excited.
I feel overwhelmed trying to get a dual function out of this room.. welcome any help/ideas offered...
Thank you... I love your website/blog!

You could put shelves in the closet for the top half for craft storage, and a rod in the bottom for baby clothes.
Enjoy this precious time together, and hope you heal fast.
Hi Sherry Well I really can't add to B. Enne's ideas they are great! I just second the "lock up your supplies" I had a door on everything in my craft room, it wasn't a shared room but it was during the day :) I used the baby proof locks on all door, even the closets and all drawers. No baskets or bins except for their toys. Good luck with your project and here's to a speedy recovery
It would be fun to incorporate some interactive element to the room so he/she can "craft" alongside you soon. Maybe a small kiddie table to color at or mount a chalkboard or a roll of craft paper to the wall down at their level?
