Are you looking to make the bed rather than buy a frame and box spring/mattress? There are many You Tube videos that show how to make a platform and headboard although you will need some tools. Do you want to paint the walls or are you working with a color already there. I would love to help but I need more information (don't know your budget either)
I have an antique bedframe in double bed size and I was able to find replacement siderails that extend the width and length to accomodate a queen mattress. the different size doesn't show.
