My go-to for just about anything Furniture related is New Life wood moisturizer by Remax. This product is so great I will clean and add moisture to the Rattan which is of course very important to keep it from cracking. a lot of antique stores sell this it comes out of San Antonio Texas. you can use it on almost any wood finish.

Where the handle is missing.
The top has one little hole. Inside basket is a faint blue stamp. I want to clean this without water to be able to see true color. On the bottom stand it has a blonde color.

Not sure about the holes I couldn't see handle holes but did see the little spot on top. You may try getting a string of Rapha I think it's called you know it's kind of like a thick grass twine. And throw a little stain on it and weave in there. may not be a perfect match but probably wouldn't be noticeable either. Have fun with your project
