Cut it up and hem on all edges to make pillow covers, window coverings, table runners, etc. You might even be able to add sections to towels, clothing, etc.

  • Is it cotton? You might be able to save it? Also if cotton, you could dye a darker shade. Once you start cutting into it, it will unravel.

You could use it as a model or form to spray paint a table top or counter top. The paint would pick up the pattern of the crochet yarn and transfer it to a counter or table. If it is lacy it would be very pretty. Other wise you might fold it for the bed of a pet or donate it to a needy animal hospital. I am not saying it isn't worth salvaging, but you asked for projects from what we could read. Claudia, i hope you find a good use for it.

Inised a mod pudge type paste and used mine and my hubby grandmas crotched pieces and made an art piece, and table runner with them! Maybe cut into table runner for table/accent piece?
