Hi Holly: It depends on how much of each you add. Experiment with different amounts of each until you get what shade you want. Keep a list like 1 part lavender (1/2 teaspoon) and 1 part (1/2 teaspoon) of brown. 2 parts (another 1/2 teaspoon) lavender to the 1 part brown you have, and so on. Just start with 1 colour, like the lavender and increase that, using 1 part brown, then 2 parts lavender, etc. You use the same puddle, just add another part, 1/2 teaspoon, of lavender. Then, switch using the 1 part, 1 teaspoon brown and 1 part lavender and go on like that, increasing the lavender or brown, making notations of how you liked that particular mix. That way you know which you like. You should end up with only 2 puddles, 1 with mostly lavender and 1 with mostly brown. I hope I didn't confuse you:)
