Once you stain anything IMMEDIATELY get the hottest water you can and mix it with some gentle detergent/oxyclean/whatever you have. I’ve even used a pigment-free dish detergent and it works just as well. Apply this mixture to the stained area, massage it in, and let it sit awhile so it partially dries, then rinse multiple times under hot water while massaging it with you fingers. Keep rinsing with progressively cooler water until it disappears. Sometimes a small faded mark will linger, but just send it through the normal wash and it’ll usually come out. The secret here is to do this as soon as possible. Don’t let the stain sit or dry out at all.
