How do I fix hardwood floors that have buckled?

The hardwood floors have buckled into a V shape. Any help is appreciated greatly.

I remember hearing about using an iron, maybe set on steam to flatten a vinyl floor. Does anyone else remember something like this?

Usually this is caused from the floor boards being too tight when they were installed. You need to trim some off the boards that are buckled.
