Hi, Mom! I use cayenne pepper powder on the soil, I am usually pretty generous with it. I then grate Irish Spring bar soap over the area. They usually don't like the irritation of the cayenne and the strong odor from the soap. If they still like to chew on your plants, perhaps some hot sauce with a little water and a couple of drops of dish soap so it sticks to the plants, they may not like the taste and leave your plants alone. The pepper powder I get at Sam's Club in a bigger container. The pepper powder and the spray need to be renewed if it rains or if it has been baked ineffective. The soap lasts longer and doesn't need to be replaced as quickly. I hope this helps you, Mom. Nothing worse than hungry rabbits to devastate a garden.

Try rabbit fencing. It's about 2' tall. For some reason, the rabbits won't jump over it. Home depot used to carry it. Good luck. I've used it,too.
