Can charcoal,cat litter soak up moisture in a closed Beach house?
I close my beach house in the winter, drain water.
Terrible moldy smell. Does cat litter and charcoal help?

Charcoal is good...set it around in every room...under furniture and behind the sofa. Open cabinets and put some in a container inside. When you first arrive, spray everything with Lysol spray to clean out the air!
