We can't produce any tomatoes without brown cracks. They look defective but still taste great after the brown is cut off. It wastes much of the tomatoe.Mary Lou
I live in KY (lots of clay) and was about a week late getting my tomato plants (Better Boy) in the ground. I added bone meal, lime and 10/10/10 fertilizer in hole.
This area gets sun from late morning through mid afternoon, bright light before & after sunshine leaves the area. No shade.
I would like to add color to my landscape surrounding the outer edge on both sides of my pool. One side gets sun, the other more shade during the day.
