Hi Marianne, Start with a paint tray, roller, putty knife (large), you'll need a handle from a broom to attached the roller, also a drop cloth. Next fill the paint tray with warm water, roll the brush in it, and pull it over to the other side to get the extra water off. Now roll the roller from the bottom up, 1/3 of the way soak it good. Take the large putty knife and scrape off the wall paper and paint. The next step, repeat. When all is done, you might need to clean any glue on the walls. Use a large sponge with a pail of warm water.
try putting a little fabric softner in the water. also score the paper a bit. you can by a small inexpensive tool for that.
