Read the reviews on the kits - carefully. My cabinets need to be done in the worst way! I had considered a kit, but the reviews scared me off. Home Depot has them on sale today for 50% off, what does that tell you? My cabinets remain sad, old and ugly. Take your time and do it right. That is my two fake copper tarnished red cent opinion.

I have read many blogs stating that anyone who has used chalk paint on kitchen cabinets has regretted it. And no one ever seems to go to the kits to do them. Here are two really good links that go through do's and don'ts and a walkthrough:
