We cut out the bottom 2 feet of wall and it is simple plain drywall. Tried testing the replaced portion with a paint roller but the texture is not prominently visible. Can you prove me with any suggestions. To make thsee walls not so obviously different, texture wise?

I am not sure how your wall is textured as there are a few different variations that dry wallers use when they texture a wall. You need to determine how your wall was textured so you can mimic the texture. Each different kind of texturing is a different process. You can do it yourself and get a fairly close match but you do have to know how it was done initially.

Hello there, I always think it is better to have a contrast rather than a bad match. If you add a rail or a border at the bottom of the existing finished wall and then make a contrast below it. A wallpaper or timber baton's you could Paint over maybe............good luck!

Check with your hardware store or paint store. There are many types and stypes of texturing available in spray cans or additives to the paint.
