Whats the best thing to use to clean stainless steel?

    Cream of tartar and water, mixed to a thin paste. Buff, rinse, dry thoroughly.

    Of course, you know there are stainless steel cleaners on the market, but I use vinegar and water on our stainless outdoor cooker and it takes grease, squirrel footprints and leaf spots off. Be sure to wipe down with plain water and dry well. We use old towels and washcloths. Happy clean shiny stainless, Julie.

    Put mineral oil generously on a soft cotton cloth; wipe with the grain of the stainless. I assume you are not talking about burnt-on food.

    Hello Julie, You can buy Stainless steel cleaner, or use Barkeeper's friend.

    I always use green apple endust for all of my stainless steel appliances.
