I wash fabric lamp shades in the kitchen sink and hang them on the clothes line to dry. For glass, I also wash them in the kitchen sink and dry and put back on. For metal, I wipe them off with a damp cloth. For paper I dust them.
just use fabric softener sheets. Works every time.
HI,
If just dust, Swat them with a dry cloth. If grubby, try a wet wipe all over the shade (go in the direction of the grain in fabric).
