Carol, there are many ways to do this. The best thing you can do is Google or YouTube the subject.
Making a potting table is simple. You can do that with concrete blocks to support the pallet. Fill in the spaces with boards from another pallet.
A vertical garden requires troughs for the soil and an irrigation system. You will need to find that on Google or YouTube.
