I gave my daughter my 3 piece wall unit when she bought her first place on her own and she uses the tall cabinet for storage of her private items and office supplies in her office; the 2 book shelves were utilized 1 in the corner of her small bedroom and the second one behind the door in her bathroom for storage for bulky items...she added a spring rod and a sheet across the front.
Upcycle it into a buffet. Paint and change out the knobs. For the top you can paint it or cover with a granite slab.
