What's the best flower/plant to grow in Texas?
I know that opinions vary, but what's your opinion?!I have great luck w Rosemary plants. Green all year long.
I usually do not use chemicals in my garden- roses are the exception. In mid February I always use (Bayer) 3 in One for roses. It stops rust/mildew, pests and fertilizes.
It can be used every few weeks. Using it early in the season gets roses off to a great start. I've found early treatment is usually enough in rainy Oregon. On occasion, I'll add it later in the season to a rose that has rust/black spot.
Roses need good drainage and to be in a good planting mix. With the above product and occasional manure my roses are so easy and stunning too!
If you only want to treat for pests Neem Oil is terrific.
Debbie...may be beetles. Need a spectracide.....we got ours at Lowe's
They probably are beetles. They have beetle traps at Home Depot.
