Raised vegetable beds- Has anyone built these and have suggestions?
I have looked at several plans for constructing raised beds for planting vegetables. My husband looses his balance easily, but has always enjoyed providing fresh vegetables for us. I would like to help him continue this hobby. They will be placed on a 5'x10' concrete pad to ensure even footing for him.
?Has anyone built these and have suggestions?

You could build some recycled soda bottle towers to raise vegetables. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=K9vN2eudWcQ&t=134s

I also have a balance problem so I had my son put concrete blocks, two high around my garden so I could sit on a chair and do weeding etc., I used about 80 blocks and had them delivered by Lowe's. It did not take long to do, my son leveled the area around the garden and started putting up the blocks. You can also put pavers on the top to make a ledge but I decided I wanted to put marigolds in the holes to keep bugs away from my vegetable plants. https://getbusygardening.com/concrete-block-raised-bed/. I used two high instead of one which was perfect for me to not have to bend over much.
I build and love mine. I'm going to share a few example and then an easy tutorial to build your own. With this tutorial you can build as high or short as you want them because they're made from 2 x 4's.
