    That might be a little to busy for an area that small. But, if you want to, anything can be done. How about doing that on a backsplash?

    This is a very tiny area for this pattern, unless you do a small area in the pattern, and remainder in solid color. Can you incorporate pattern elsewhere in the space?

    Although it can be done, working in such a small area is physically not easy, and a herringbone pattern will require a great deal of cutting small pieces to fit them in properly around the walls. With any flooring, the more cuts you have, the harder it will be to achieve results that are smooth, level, and even.

    Yes, you could put down a herringbone pattern on your small kitchen floor. Don't forget to leave space around the perimeter to allow the wood to expand and contract as weather changes. Cover the space with quarter round. Best of luck to you.
