    Yes, clean well, use a paint intended for metal and allow to cure (no rain or snow and reattach lights, house numbers etc after paint is cured.

    Yes. After sanding and cleaning the siding to remove wasp nests, dirt, and other debris, use Rustoleum for outdoor metal as a primer. Then use Rustoleum or another brand of exterior paint over the primer. Use exterior caulk at the seams and top edges of the siding.
