    ? What about them?

There are thousands of options, in all price ranges. We live in Texas where the bright sun, plus our desire for privacy, means almost every window has narrow blinds and a covering over that. On the outside, we have black screens on the front of the house. The living room and dining room have wide blinds with a lace-look edge printed on them. All three bedrooms have narrow blinds and curtains, each room a different kind. The family room has narrow blinds and sheers, with no outside visibility unless someone were on the patio. The kitchen window has narrow blinds barely opened for the houseplants, and the master bath is the same, but above the head of any person outside. Oh, yes, the kitchen patio door only has about a five foot length of fabric with a hem, on a two foot curtain rod. This door will be a project. Maybe one of our window coverings will help you, Alisha. ☺️

Alisha, the most durable and least bothersome window covers that I prefer are the 2" wide vinyl blinds at Home depot. The last ones I got were the kind the custom cut to fit your window and are very affordable. That is all I have in my entire house.

Curtains require being taken down and washed and ironed and put back up. Blinds can be vacuumed in place!
