What can I do with an old deteriorating concrete sidewalk?

Don't have the funds to remove it and can't do it myself

    You can rent a jack hammer from a big box / hardware store, and break it up.

    I have seen the state highway department re-coat our concrete roads and these are performing very well. Don't know if this would work or not, but you could definitely call the road dept. in your area and see if they did this type of work and if they could recommend someone that can perform it in a housing area. I know this will work, but I have no idea on a cost basis. good luck!

    Hello Kim,

    Maybe you could lay slabs on top (they don't have to be big and heavy) on a Mortar mix. Use a spirit level too. Or you could lay 3 inches of concrete on top and level it that way. Or use timber to form a raised edge on all sides held in place with timber or metal pegs, or use a metal Path edge, then spread Gravel or pie shingle on top.......... Hope that helps..
