After the wind blew down the entire gazebo I had the 4 corner post left and the netting . Any ideas for using either item.

  • They sell covers for existing frames. Now is the time all the summer stuff goes on sale too, you might find a really nice one reasonably.

Could you rebuild the gazebo? also you could install a sun shade that drapes so it helps with the sun beating down on you .

Cheryl, I bet you live in the Plains states, which includes Texas. Our fabric gazebo went flying over our fence and into a neighbor’s driveway. Our American flag was wrapped astound the pole every day except when it was being shredded by the wind.

If your posts are still there, you could make one to four trellis walls, even using chain link fencing for the walls. Plant grapevines or other berry vines, or morning glory and other flowering vines on your trellises. I might attach the netting to the trellises to make it look better, and the fencing can all be spray painted or the netting dyed.

I might also take down two of the posts and use the netting attached to two posts for several games like badminton, mini tennis, and toss the beach ball balloon over the net.

Or I might change the gazebo into a sitting area with the netting over the top and down two sides. I would tie the netting on with twine, so if the weather were really bad, I could bring in the netting with the lawn chairs.

I’m sorry this happened. Maybe you can build a wood roof onto your next gazebo. ☺️
