I live in an apartment and would like to put up some removable wallpaper on my backsplash in the kitchen. I don't know much about that product or if I could even accomplish that task. I have some crafting experience, but I have never put up wallpaper.

why not ask teh landlord if you can paint it? This might also be in your contract, but yes, the removable paper can be used.

It really is going to depend on the paper you purchase. They come in different widths. Measure left to right to see what you will need. Find the paper you want to use, and figure how many sections you will need. Once you know the number of sections, measure from the counters to the bottom of the cabinets. Take the height measurement and multiply it by the number of sections you will need.

    For example:

if the paper you want to use comes in 30 inches wide and your length (left to right) is six feet, that is 72 inches. Divide 72 by 30 which comes to roughly 2 and a half sections.

If the height from the counter to the cabinet is 18 inches, you will need to multiply 18 by 2.5 which comes to 45 inches. So the roll you purchase will need to be at least that long.

I hope I didn’t bombard you with too much math! LOL

No, that I can handle!!! thank you. I did not know how to figure it out! it's the actual putting up of the paper that I am not sure I can do, but I am definitely going to give it a try.

You can also look in homedepot for the “tin ceiling” tiles. I used to have them in my kitchen. They are actually plastic and can be installed with command strips.

That's a good idea. I have never heard of them.

It’s super easy! Your best bet is to use the vinyl removable kind. Although be careful....I actually put some up in my house that i own, and it did damage the drywall. What is currently on the wall where you want to put it?

Believe me or not but I used Dollar Store square sticking sheets for making temporary backsplash. They were so beautiful like a photo picture.Green background with white daisies. My friends liked it.They were good enough for a year ,then the corners became too dry and started to peel off. It's easy to remove, and you can redo it again ,so cheap.Good luck!
