The decorative lattice on my 6ft vinyl fence keeps pulling out. The corner post may have shifted a little and the rail keeps popping out. How can I fix this? Right now I used a rope to tie on post to another. It looks bad.

The rails have nubs that snap in the posts. They either broke or wore away. You can use a two part epoxy on the rails and use the web clamp to hold everything together while it dries. You can also try using PVC glue.

Great answers, but one thing...If that post has shifted, you may want to see if you can reset it without taking it down.

Before you glue the lattice in place, take a piece of rebar about 10" long and drive it down around all 4 sides of the post, making sure the post is square. Then dig down about 6" and pour concrete to hold it in place.

When we stack yard timbers to build around our mailbox, we drill holes in the ends of them and drive a 12" rebar down through the hole to hold them in place.

Thanks ...I am going to check to see how level the post is...you are probably correct. The fence was not installed professionally but he did use concrete. The post may have shifted. 🤔 thanks everyone for helping. This is a great resource!

Most professionally installed vinyl have lifetime warranties. It the fence was professionally installed, find the sticker name and call them. Otherwise, follow Jeanette's advise about the rebar and concrete since this is a corner or anchoring post. If it fails. the whole fence will fail.
