How to do ramen painting on a couch?

I was reading on here the other day where a woman painted her furniture she bought a couch and then it was beautiful when she got done but I cannot remember what supplies are needed for that can you help me out

    The magnifying glass is a common internet symbol for searching. Hometalk's is at the top left. Click it. You'll see grey letters asking about your next project. Click there and type in what you're looking for, "painted furniture," and click the blue GO to the right. You'll see pictures and the beginning sentences of each project. That's how B.     Yes! You can paint fabric by adding fabric medium to it so it doesn't

    dry stiff. I haven't done it , but it looks like several coats would have to go on

    depending on the original colour. Don't know how tedious this would be to get it looking great!
