Your life is just beginning! Put your outdoor work clothes on, trot down to the big box outdoor store with a list of your ideas. Go to the garden dept and your whole life will change in one store visit. You can go to a nursery too. Experts are there to help you through your project. Check online, family, neighbors, church friends. Join a gardening club. You get free plants. There are free plans on line. Use google!

  • Oh my goodness! I am so so sorry. Just know you will be ok. You have your dog (s) and that is all you really need. Walk the dog every day, if you have the luxury of a long summer evening walk, do it! If you have a dog friendly tea or coffee shop, stop in. Become a "regular" somewhere to meet new people and make new friends outside of work. If your current group of friends are not supportive, start making new friends.

Dogs do not need much to be happy! As long as they have some fluffy grass to roll in and a place to do their business, they are good! Here are a few things you can do if they tickle you. Some are kinda cute!

Add in a couple chairs or a bench and table for you too. Sit out there and throw the ball, enjoy the fresh air, get some vitamin D. Contemplate your next project. It is now time to take care of you. I spent my entire life until recently taking care of everyone else, job, kids, ex hubby (I still take care of him!), grandparents, parents. All done now, and I live alone and love every minute. Is it hard? Sometimes yes when you need to fix things. Am I lonely? Not in the least. I have a bunch of pets and grateful not to have to deal with daily drama on multiple platforms. It's exhausting. Now I get to do what I want when I want. Time for you to focus on yourself and your future. Do not consider anyone else but yourself and your pets. Then go for it! Dance in the rain! Trust me, it's fun!
