I am considering removing a chimney in my 2 story house, suggestions?

There is no chimney through the roof or in the attic, but it extends behind a wall in a bedroom and is exposed in the kitchen. Any ideas on how to start?

I would hire this done unless you have experience doing this type of thing. Get a couple of estimates and ask questions.
Getting an estimate and asking questions is a good idea. Might help you decide if you think you could do it yourself.
