Will 2" x 8" 12' ledgers work to support a steel roofing?

Will 2" x 8" 12' ledgers work to support a steel roofing over a 12' x 22' deck for three to four season use? What other materials would I need?

A 2x8 will work fine for strength it all depends on how close you put them together. According to this calculator: https://www.bhg.com/home-improvement/deck/building/how-to-compute-deck-spans/ if you put 2x8s 16" a part they can support a span of up to 13 feet.
