Here's a super easy and inexpensive way to add some colorful and whimsical decor to your kids rooms.

Start with some colorful pom poms, a blunt needle and some twine or string. I used cute pink and white baker's twine.

Aren't these colors the best?? :)

String your thread or twine through the needle. Then simple "sew" through each pom pom.

Here's a closeup! These pom poms are not difficult to sew through at all. This project goes very fast, actually!

Here's a quick tip - you can create a pattern of colors that you like before stringing them on. Just line them up and move around to your taste! Create a garland that matches the color scheme of your room already.

Then string them all on!

I just kept adding pom poms until I was happy with the length. I spaced my pom poms out a bit, but you can certainly string them close together too.

Isn't this super cute and fun and colorful? Kids will love it! (Although please watch the littler ones around it)...

This garland is easy to drape and hang on anything - frames, beds, mirrors, walls, doors etc. Get creative and try to add this to a place in the room where you need that extra POP!

This also makes inexpensive party decor! Make it red and green for the holidays or blue and pink for a baby shower! The list goes on and on...be creative!icon

This was a super fun project and I hope you guys enjoyed! This was very inexpensive to create. I have still have TONS of twine and pom poms leftover for another project too.
