What products to use on wood or metal for outdoor decorations?

What are the best products to use for outdoor wood and metal ornaments that will last? Putting up a 4 season room and it is close to machine shed. Want art on tin machine shed wall to look attractive and nice all 4 seasons. It will be all glass windows facing the shed so it needs to look like the room is extended out further. Have 2 thin metal trellises ( 12 ft tall by 3 feet wide) but want something to hang on them that takes outdoor weather in Iowa. Don't want paint or wood to fade or peel quickly. Any suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks in advance.

Krylon makes a spray paint for metal wood plastic just about anything. It's all combined in one. Anything done for outdoors needs a sealer (made for outdoors) Krylon makes that too. The sealer helps to keep in good condition and helps to keep fading from Sun. But you need to remember the elements are hard outdoors. So seal them once a year and you should be good to go.
Gpk, acrylics are really hardy and will work on almost any surface. If you want it to last, prime it first
