Hi Kathy. I'm Cindy. Putting something that vibrates next to their hole will push them out. Moles travel on their bellies. They cannot tolerate any vibrations. Some people use a garden size windmill, and others have used electric fans.

Juicy Fruit gum dropped down in the tunnel. They hate the smell. Also Castor oil poured into their tunnels will deter them. I did this and planted Castor plants around my yard. The plant is pretty but moles hate the root smell. Warning: Castor plants are poisonous!
