How to turn a hot tub into a back yard pond?

I have an old ugly hot tub that I ask my husband to turn into a back yard in ground pond. He is good with pipe but not electricity. Ok, Maybe how to building a pretty pond from this ugly marble tan/brown tub. Please help!

Dig a hole big enough for the hot tub, paint the inside of it black with appropriate paint, hubby can take care of plumbing it and hire someone to take care of wiring if you want to add lighting or a fountain. I bet it'll look really good!
Use a solar pump with a battery backup that will run at night. I get mine from amazon. They also have solar lights for underwater and floating solar and battery lights/decor. I also went to beachballs.com and bought a beach ball
that has lights that insert in a sleeve. Looks like the expensive floating orbs at the fraction of the cost. So pretty and relaxing, especially at night. Good luck, most places are clearing out the summer stuff already so look for deals. This is a big stress reliever, get feeder goldfish for pennies and watch how fast they grow.
