This project was not only fun to put together, but it’s also going to be an entertaining, interactive toy to play with throughout the summer. The kids love to rearrange the figurines, play with the various components and create little scenes.

Start by gathering the supplies you’ll need for this project: shallow tray, soil, rocks, stones, beans, seeds, fairy figurines, fairy house, fairy swing, small plant/flower clippings, battery-operated light set and batteries.

Start by filling a shallow tray or dish with soil.

Add the fairy house/swing on one side. Pour the stones & seeds on top of the soil to form little paths. This adds an organic, whimsical touch to the scene. I also added larger rocks along the circumference of the dish.

Next add fairy figurines and some small plant/flower clippings throughout the scene.

The lights add such a magical touch to the scene! I love the way this garden looks. For more tips & pictures, please visit the blog post below.
