The flowers I planted this year need to be deadheaded every day for them to keep blooming nicely. What could I plant that would not need quite as much attention?

Hydrangea, Lillies of the Nile, Morning Glories. Hydrangea and Lilies of the Nile like some shade. Morning Glories need full or mostly sunny areas and are a vine.

Plant Moss Rose or pursulane. There are a variety of colours. They grow well in baskets, pots and direct garden beds. You can also multiply the plants by breaking pieces and sticking it in the soil directly. Lots of small cute flowers. Easy to grow.

Impatients, I love them and they aren't too bad on the dead heading and the plant part is really pretty

There are many annuals that do not need to be dead headed. Check with your nursery workers. They don't like to do that either. There is something that is called Thousand bells that doesn't need dead heading. There are many perennials that don't need dead heading, BUT perennials will not bloom all season long. They all take their season. It is a little bit more tricky.
