Anne...have you tried bleach...I would think that would work.

Cotton balls soaked in bleach leave on for couple of hours
William is right to remove the old caulk. New will not yellow. This should not take long.
If you don’t mean the caulk but the grout between tiles that is a bigger job. If you send a picture people can give you a definite answer.
