If you have been following me for a while now, you know how I love the Southwestern Pattern.I have painted it on my Nightstand, on a Bench, on a Bowl, and even created Wall Arts. The only thing left was to make Southwestern Coasters and these Wood Slices were perfect for it.

I ordered these Wood Slices off Amazon and they were great to use as Coasters.I have used these on two other projects such as DIY Colored Stain Coasters and Resin Turquoise Stone Coaster.

This gorgeous fabric print I have previously used in my  Bar Stool Makeover post. The leftover fabric is what I used for this project.Place the wood slice piece on the fabric and trace around it using a pencil. Then cut the fabric accordingly.

Dab a little Mod Podge on your foam brush and gently place the cut out fabric piece onto the wood slice coaster.I love using Mod Podge for decoupaging and I have create really fun projects using it such as my  Palm Leaf Gold Accent Table and these  Decoupaged Bottles.Lastly I used a little Liquid Gold Gilding and painted the sides of the wood. This is how it turned out.

What do you guys think?

This is such a great project to do if you leftover fabric that you really like but don't know what to do with.
