Hi Michelle! you did a beautiful job! mine peeled completely because I didnโ€™t spray a finish on it . For you I would Sand lightly and repaint then spray with protective coating. That should make your paint last longer. Love the color! Good luckโ˜˜๏ธ!

Thank you! I ended up just sanding the peeling spots and doing a few more coats on the whole thing. Next, I plan to do the protective coating spray on the whole thing. I hope that does the trick! I was so happy with the red.

Michelle, that table set is really cute. Iโ€™m glad you went ahead as you did. High humidity can affect spray paint and making fudge. We havenโ€™t seen more than a trace of rain for a while, but the humidity is still high. You found and answer and it should work. Start the sealer soon, and let the furniture stand a day, then respray. Best wishes! โ˜บ๏ธ

Thank you. It has been very humid here as well. Even today. I probably should've waited for a less humid day but I was so anxious to fix those peeling spots!

you need to use a metal primer spray first and then your top coat colour

Unfortunately, I didn't use primer. I used the Rustoleum 2 in one spray. Fingers crossed that it holds this time!

Thanks for the answers! I did several coats of industrial clear coat. It is holding up well!

Hi! That is a beautiful set! I would begin by sanding off the peeling spots, repaint then use an outdoor sealer over the entire piece.

    Hello,

If it is Plastic chair, use Plastic Paint as instructions, If Metal chair use a Metal pAINT.

Rub it down a bit and spry over again! Good luck!
