Need a new top load washer, are you happy with yours?

When Maytag was bought out by another company, the quality, and reliability of their appliances went downhill. 'Sounds like Naomie's 18yr old washer is one of the 'oldies and goodies' that are no longer being made.

I have the LG top load . AMAZING . Reliable , easy to use, no need to bend .

We are short people 5` so it is a bit high to pull the wet close , but worth every dime .Bit expensive but it has so many functions, when it comes to soil level, speed, heat . Recommended to others and they bless me every day.

Stay away from newer Maytags!! I spent a butload of money on a Maytag and it only lasted 7 flipping years!! It was a top loader, the only kind to really buy, and it started to rust out along the top.(where the tub gets covered by a rim) I thought that it was because of using bleach, how wrong I was😈 Called Maytag and they simply said that is just "normal wear and tare" I call B.S. on that cause I had a machine that was from the 80s and it lasted for over 20. and before you say I didn't use it, believe you me I did! Having a son who loved to get filthy, a hubby who is a firefighter, and me working in a machine shop..... I did laundry every other day. Soooo, Maytag is not what they use to be. I will stand by KENMORE , yes, good ol SEARS. The old machine I had was a Lady Kenmore..(funny name) Now I have just a KENMORE. It can wash a king size comforter with no prob 😎 I can do without the lights and sounds, but it works fanflippintastic!!
