Many Hometalkers have used them and regret it and have mention their misfortunes in discussions. Many people had o replace deck boards and even complete decks. There are class action lawsuits against the manufacturers. Also notice they are not advertised anymore. You can do some online research and find more cons than pros. I have been advising Hometalkers not to use the products and to spread the word. Some have tried scraping and sanding with fair results.
I did not know this, thank you. I hopeit does not apply to the regular paint too, [which I used on my entire downstsirs ceiling and two ceilings upstairs, plus, mixed with two much darker colors for the upstairs walls too]. Not too sure what to recommend now besides: good old fashioned wood putty or cement and some 'elbow grease'.
It is a pity too, because a Roll On Enduring Texture that was not texture paint, was sought by these people.
I'm glad I never used Deckover in my home, or for any clients. But do know I almost used it in my warehouse and was yet considering that, indoors, so now, if they discontinued that, I too need to consider the alternatives for the warehouse floor.
