Learn how to use recycled items to create a cute ladybug that can be hiding all around your garden! It's really inexpensive. I had all of the items on hand, so it didn't cost me anything. You may need to pick up a few items.
Watch the video to see exactly how I made it!

First get a golf ball.
Then you want to get your wire hanger and cut legs. You will need four legs and you can cut them to be approximately 2.5 to 3 inches in length. You will need to bend the ends in opposite directions.
Drill four holes into the golf ball, for the legs.
Use glue and glue the legs into the golfball.
Then take a small wood piece, available at the craft store, and glue it onto the head. Now drill two holes above the head for the antennae.
Use 20 gauge wire and wrap it around a wood skewer for the antennae and glue them into the holes above the head.
Cut two wings from a plastic bottle.
Use black acrylic paint and add dots onto the the underside of the wings.
Spray paint the body black and the underside of the wings red.
Glue the wings onto the body. That's it!

I'm confused. You said to put black dots on the underside of the wings. Then you said to paint the underside of the wings red. How are the dots not covered up? Are the black dots supposed to go on the upper side of the wings? Thanks for the cute idea.

Did you know lady bugs have six legs?

What if you have a liquid center golf ball and you drill into it? That’s a lot of pressure if you hit that liquid. Be careful!
