Check out thrift stores and garage sales . I guarantee you’ll find something that you’ll love! Happy hunting 😊

Pillows, cozy throws, lamps, and rugs can all help with ambiance.

With really small spaces think simple lines and lots of textures. We have a small 2 bedroom ranch and it works to keep things simple and add pieces that have the dual purpose of function and storage. Here is a glimpse if you'd like to see it. http://alifeunfolding.com/tiny-rustic-ranch/

I sell antiques.....had a small house once.....now i want the size of house you have.....buy what you love.....if it is would look greaT painted in white or a lite gray or even a few accent colors like yellow pink or blue go for it. Remember always go up not wide.....you will loose space.....had a 4 x 4 kitchen and the rooms were small.....find a oak dresser with a mirror....or a pine 4 drawer dresser with old paint hard to fine.....or just paint a dresser. Here is mine in old paint....sorry about the ski's. Bought these for someone to buy and to sell cheap....for someone to do a door decoration with.....guess that is no longer done. Who knows....i still have them!

I agree. I love using throw pillows to decorate my small living room: http://momhomeguide.com/easy-envelope-pillow-covers-for-spring/

I can't help you with blending decorating styles, but you'll want to keep things from getting cluttered. Our first home was very small; few closets and no basement. I always looked for furniture pieces like coffee tables, end tables and bedside tables with storage. Like Buttermilk said, go up, tall shelf units, for instance. They're great for displaying books and collectibles and you could incorporate your love of the eclectic with smaller pieces on a tall shelving unit.
