Driftwood & Repurposed Date Nails Wall Hooks #‎ReclaimedWood‬

When you're a "junker" - there's no telling what unrelated items will come together to create something new!
This driftwood board was found at a lake while on vacation. I have no idea what it was originally part of, but I'm so glad it "drifted" into my life, because the wood is beautifully worn from age and being tossed around on the water.
These antique date nails came from an auction. Date nails were driven into railroad ties, bridge timbers, utility poles, mine props, and other wooden structures for record keeping purposes.
Adding the nails to the driftwood was such simple way to create beautiful wall hooks, leaving the natural beauty of the wood intact.

Neat and easy project. Did you clean the wood with anything? Thanks
