Need some help- How can I make a pulley system?

Find a supermarket that offers home delivery. Let them carry your groceries up the steps.

I’m with the home delivery....I’ve put pully systems in my garage, they are good for some tasks, not so for others.

Heck out the carts with 6 wheels. It pulls up steps with little effort.

She actually has one. The problem is that she is older and not steady on her feet, so she needs the handrails. Definitely a good option for some for sure. Thank you.

the pully systems are manual powered, not electric, it takes muscle power.

I am watching for these suggestions also. We use a cart to get groceries from the car to the bottom of the stairs...that is handy but carrying stuff up the stairs is not. We do have three steps going into the front of our house....have tried that with the cart and it is better but still a pain. Too bad we don't have an elevator from the basement to the first floor or one of those chair lifts that you sit on and it takes you and your groceries up the steps. Our house is a ranch, which is in our favor but the garage is one level below. Grocery delivery sounds better every day.

An elderly friend installed a chair glide system from basement to first floor. She places groceries on the chair, sends them upstairs, then has chair returned for her. Costly, but worked for her. Many grocery stores will now deliver, for a fee, so it may be better for larger orders.
